Rodney C. Lester Scholarship Fund
At the occasion of Dr. Rodney Lester’s retirement, we conducted a successful campaign to help establish the Rodney Lester scholarship. After many conversations within the nursing community, it was decided to establish an endowed scholarship to ensure the longevity of Dr. Lester’s legacy here at the Jane and Robert Cizik School of Nursing.
We turn to you to help us increase the funds already raised to reach the necessary minimum of $25,000 in order to endow the Rodney Lester scholarship. You may pledge a certain amount over a number of months; for instance you may pledge $1,000 over one year, payable on a monthly basis, which is just $84 per month. Your gift will help sustain the legacy of Dr. Rodney Lester’s dedication and passion for all aspects of nurse anesthesia and his commitment to excellence in nurse anesthesia education, and most importantly your gift will allow nurse anesthesia students at UTHealth to receive financial support that offsets the increasing costs of graduate education.
