The Institute for Health Policy (IHP) and the Research Into Action initiative are improving public health through better knowledge translation (KT), the idea that research will improve health practices and policy decision-making and that evidence-based decision-making about health is superior to current practice. Your gift to IHP will enable us to address large-scale public health issues with evidence-based programs and policies that have proven effective. Philanthropic gifts provide necessary funds for such things as fellowships that provide unparalleled experience for future health care professionals and discretionary funds to allow our team to respond to unexpected opportunities.
